Is turmeric the next big trend in the kitchen or a miracle super spice? It has been used in Eastern medicine since thousands of years. Now, it is available in supermarkets all over the world.

You’re likely to have eaten turmeric every day if you love Indian food. It is a key ingredient in curry and gives mustard its golden color. It is closely related to ginger and has a bitter taste.

While research on its health benefits is still in its early stages of development, there is increasing evidence for some common claims. If you are interested in natural products that can improve your overall health, you should look into what turmeric could do for you.

BENEFITS FROM TURMERIC:

1. It is important to reduce inflammation
Curcumin, which is a substance found in turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties. Some studies have shown that it can be as effective as ibuprofen in relieving arthritis pain.
2. It is important to strengthen bones.
Some forms of turmeric may even be able to preserve bone mass. It is being tested by the National Institute of Health to determine if it can prevent osteoporosis.
3. Keep a healthy level of cholesterol.
Numerous specialists have already recommended Turmeric for improving good HDL cholesterol and lowering bad LDL cholesterol. Combining it with a low-saturated fat, high-soluble fiber diet is especially beneficial.
4. Stop sneezing. Turmeric has been proven to be helpful for congestion and runny noses.
5. It is important to treat depression.
The potential of turmeric in treating depression has been demonstrated. Because mood disorders can be caused by both inflammation and chemical abnormalities within the brain, this is why turmeric has been shown to be effective in treating depression.
6. You need to keep up-to-date with major diseases like diabetes and cancer. Your doctor will be able to provide information about the latest findings and their implications for you.

HOW TO USE TURMERIC

1. Your digestion is important. Unfortunately, our bodies aren’t very good at absorbing turmeric. To improve your digestion, you can combine it with black pepper and oil.

2. Get clean. Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties can help you feel and look younger. You can find turmeric on cosmetics and soap labels. Or, you can search online for recipes.

3. It has a pleasant smell. Turmeric is used in many perfumes, as well as essential oils for aromatherapy.

SAFETY QUESTIONS:

1. Be natural

There is no danger in using turmeric in traditional ways. It can be used in a variety of ways, including eating it or drinking it. Turmeric can also be used in salad dressings, scrambled eggs, and tea. Remember that even a tiny amount of turmeric can make your skin appear brilliant orange.

2. Be on the lookout for potential negative consequences.

Side effects that are most common include nausea, diarrhoea and stomach discomfort. These side effects are more common for people who have an allergy to curcumin or who have consumed large amounts of turmeric for a prolonged period.

3. Reduce problems to a minimum

If you have any medical conditions, Turmeric should be avoided. These include being pregnant, nursing, or having problems in your gallbladder. You should stop taking turmeric at least two weeks prior to surgery because it can interfere with blood coagulation.

4. Consult your physician.

Although turmeric is generally safe, you should discuss any other or supplemental medications with your doctor. You can talk to your doctor about whether or not they are right for you, and any possible side effects.

Although more research is necessary, preliminary evidence suggests that turmeric may be safe and effective in lowering inflammation and treating related illnesses like osteoarthritis. To see the benefits of turmeric, add a pinch to your favorite foods.
